My
THANKS to all of you who auditioned. To
those who were cast, CONGRATULATIONS. To
those we could not use in this production,
keep auditioning.
This
show is a challenge to cast. It is
so very important for the characters to make sense in relationship to
one another. For some of you, that
was a benefit. For others,
it was not. Welcome to the harsh
world of show business.
Many
of you may find surprises in the cast list, both positive and negative.
And I am sure that each one of you has cast the show differently.
I am as pleasantly surprised as anyone with this cast.
Rest assured, we weighed each casting decision very carefully and
considered all of our numerous possible casting combinations. For good or for bad, Ohio Lyric Theatre has entrusted me, and me
alone, to decide who plays which roles. Barb
and Claire had major input, however, all final decisions were made by
me.
I
am extremely pleased and confident with the final casting of this show.

get this show on the road!
